We are committed to the quality of the public space: safe, green, healthy, convivial and social. For everybody!
Analysis and advice
Based on the analysis of existing situations or plans we work, in close cooperation with all parties concerned, towards a custom-made advice (from first sketch to final design).
We work on all scales, from new neighborhood to bicycle trail, from highway to public swimming pool and shopping center.
Our approach is connected to current issues, such as the importance of a green environment for health and an increased focus on safety and social cohesion in the public space.
Bureau K2 was founded by Ing. Kyra Kuitert ®RCE
Landscape architect, registered CPTED-expert (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) and member of the Placemaking Leadership Council.
Together with Drs. Rosemarie Maas she wrote 'Prettige Plekken, Handbook People and Public Space' and works within Bureau KM.
